DISPARLON 1958 is based on a silicone-free, special nonionic, high molecular weight surface active agent. The product, having strong foam-breaking properties, acts as both a defoaming/leveling agent in low polarity solvent based coatings. It is particularly effective as a defoamer in alkyd ambient-cure systems such as architectural paints.
